Meredith Hallett is a printmaker, illustrator, and graphic designer from Greenwood, Indiana, who lives and works in Columbus, Ohio. She currently attends Columbus College of Art & Design and works as a designer for Bath & Body Works. After always being drawn to art as a child, she began seriously pursuing art when she entered Center Grove High School and studied under Rick Jones, Nathan Frye, and Heidi Shackleford. These teachers encouraged and nurtured her professional endeavors throughout her high school career. Her work is heavily inspired by her fellow women and the playfulness that can shine through in art. It is fun, upbeat, and often graphic. As a printmaker, she loves to combine different types of printmaking, often letting the creation process become more important than the final product. She also loves to create patterns and has experience as a graphic designer.
Meredith is also passionate about her fellow art community. She has been the President and Treasurer of Columbus College of Art & Design’s Illustration Student Collective for three years. She organized a collective gallery show called Art of Illustration in 2024. She is also the Game Creator’s Guild secretary and has worked in CCAD’s Development office for three years. She works hard to build a community that uplifts artists, especially her fellow women artists, and hopes to foster a space for women to be playful in their artistic endeavors.
